Students will develop a basic understanding of watercolor objectives including tone, color, color temperature, and color mixing. A variety of techniques, as well as basic sketching and composition, will be covered using landscape as subject matter. Supplies not included.

Watercolor paint (in pans or in tubes, professional quality)

Windsor & Newton, Grumbacher (Academy), Van Gogh, Yarka
Paper
Economy Watercolor paper. Size - 10”x14” or bigger
Sketchbook or loose sheets of paper in a small folder
