Learn how to mix color to capture the radiance, harmony and surface quality of a subject as grand and elusive as the rainbow. Students will experiment with acrylic mediums to thin the opacity of paint and achieve soft outer edges around colored shapes. Visual aids of compositional possibilities are explored, and students may choose to work on one large painting or execute several small pieces. Acrylics provided, students with their own oil painting supplies welcome.
